If the pharmaceutical industry were as well self-policed as the supplement industry we wouldn't be having 150,000 DEATHS from drug reactions every year!
It is the FDA, itself, that needs a revamp. Those asking approval should not be the ones paying for that approval! The leaders of the FDA should not have been executives in any portion of the food or pharmaceutical industry! Chemists, yes, executives NO. More to the point should be a complete disbanding of the FDA. Let the people decide what companies survive and what companies are trying to pull a fast one over on the public. Nothing will kill a corporation faster than public outcry. This particular kind of police work hasn't worked in over a hundred years it's time to learn from the mistake.
