Being a responsive citizen is easier than ever

Being politically responsible in America is a thousand times easier now that there is an internet. The White House and every Senator and Representative now has e-mail. Virtually every American has access to a computer and taking just a few minutes to let your elected representatives know how you feel about any issue has gotten as easy as writing an email.

There is no longer any excuse for anyone to say “Well what difference will my message make?”, no excuse at all. Your voice does make a difference! Go to www.senate.gov and type in your zipcode to find your Senator's email address. If you own your own computer, bookmark the page. Go to www.Representative.gov and do the same. Any time an issue which can be handled in Washington, DC comes up, take that few minutes to let your elected officials know your opinion. Someone in every office does read your message and if enough people send essentially the same opinion they elected officials do respond. Last December and again this February, President Obama asked America to write a short note as to what losing $40 a week would mean to their life and thousands of people responded and got the payroll tax reform passed. This happened not once but twice and Congress listened! Your voice does matter!

Take the time to find out whom to write and take the time to do it. People who complain about our government but do not take the time to vote or to let the people who can do something about the subject know how you feel is not being American. Your freedoms and privileges as an American are unique in the world and they didn't come free by just being born here. Like your privilege to drive, nothing is guaranteed. Being a good American means raising your voice and being heard. By email and by voting. Our military people won your right to have a voice but it is your responsibility to uphold that right by action.

Go to www.yourstate.gov to find a listing for your state level Senator and Representative as well. They, too have email and every message is read. Keep them in the loop of your opinion on things that affect your state. Bookmark their pages as well.

If you do not do your part to participate in the governance of your state and country you have no right to voice your opinion openly. If you want to be heard then tell the people who can do something about it, not just your neighbors or the guys at the club. Remember, Freedom isn't Free … it cost participation.

Stand Up and be Counted!

A young friend of mine wrote a diatribe that I feel everyone should not only read but send to their elected officials.  It is mostly a complaint about the treatment of those who are part of the "Occupy" movement but there are other issues here and I think it bears repeating until every single American has heard it enough times to get off their complacent buttocks and DO SOMETHING about our "representative" government.

You don't remember what to do?  Let me refresh your memory.  Every Senator and Representative has an "open office" address/website/phone number.  You can go to www.senate.gov to find out who your senator's information and www.houseofrepresentatives.gov input your zip code and get the contact details of your district representatives (or all of them from your state if you know all the zip codes).  WWW.WhiteHouse.gov gets you to the White House email and believe me, Obama's staff reads every single email they get!  Recently he asked the American people to email him "What $40.00 means to me" as a way of convincing Congress to pass a new tax relief bill.  In TWO DAYS  he received 40,000 letters and used them to SHAME the Republican congress into passing a stop-gap law for the working people.

Below is Jared's letter which has been mailed to congress and the White House.  Copy it, put your name on it and do the same.  I did.

-Diatribe of a concerned American citizen
I am a young American male.
At this moment, that isn’t what’s important. What is important, however, is my prerogative to express the following thoughts to other Americans and world citizens, young and old, male and female who can read and understand what I have to say.
Because I believe in this country and love what this country represented at its conception.
Because I believe in the freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and the right of the people to peacefully assemble and protest their grievances.
I can say, with complete certainty regarding the sum total of my academic upbringing thus far, that the founding fathers of this nation would have been utterly appalled at its current condition, and outraged at the police crackdown upon citizens conducting peaceful protests demanding that their voices be heard which have occurred nationwide and continue to occur despite persistent public outcry. The people who choose to speak out have been stymied by the vile and reprehensible machinations of a system which seeks to suffocate and de-legitimize their cause at every turn.
They say we do not have a purpose, that we do not have an achievable goal. We do now.
That is because this movement is growing. It is growing spontaneously in all directions, in every part of the country, grasping for a solution to stabilize the social structure. It is a movement that will not fade away; it is destined to grow because it is rooted in a fundamental human need, having arisen as a consequence of our civilization.
That need is to achieve social harmony.
This is a very simple doctrine rooted in pure equilibrium, presenting the individual with the opportunity to advance and achieve a reasonable standard of living through his or her own hard work.  This is not to say that we are naïve enough to delude ourselves into thinking that we can, in our lifetime, live in a utopia. Rather, all we can do is lean towards it. However, the argument stands firm that we are not content to settle for the rampant corruption that is currently in place, we should therefore oppose it.
We oppose corporate cronyism that lines the pockets of politicians with virtually unlimited resources to influence votes and control the political process.
We oppose UC Davis cops who pepper spray students sitting and demonstrating peacefully.
We oppose the bulldozing of tent cities organized in ‘Public’ parks, and the subterfuge of the propaganda machine labeling them ‘unsanitary’ and ‘unlawful’. The destruction of public forums only strengthens the legitimacy of the cause.
We oppose multi-billion dollar bailouts for banks and the big three. (Ford, GM, Chrysler). Let them founder like a sinking ship, and have another entity take its place, as should be the natural cycle of economic renewal.
We oppose an administration that would have the gall to present us with a health care reform that essentially forces us to purchase a service, and in so doing, choosing to spoon feed us as though we were infants.
We oppose a government that represses our right to voice our frustration at its incompetence. We oppose SOPA, and any form of censorship whatsoever. We oppose a government which permits itself to spy on its citizens and seeks to detain them without due warrant or trial.
These are the desperate tactics of a government whose aim is to suppress and distort the truth by utilizing the media as a powerful tool of propaganda, assured that any dissenters would be labeled “Terrorists”, effectively becoming an enemy of the state. It is a system which is using fear and ignorance as coercive tools to undermine any resistance being forged among the populace.
The moniker of “Homegrown terrorism” will be applied to grassroots groups which represent the greatest ideological threat to the current system in place. The most magnanimous among them will be labeled anti-American or Anti-Christian. Trouble makers, dissenters, radicals, and any other politically correct term they can muster, true to an Orwellian vision of a nightmare society.
When the individual voice is drowned out and complacent ignorance is indoctrinated into the hearts of men who are placated by mindless entertainment and brainwashed to accept their roles as slaves in a machine to serve the elite, will the corruption of the current system flourish, but the seed of unrest is ever present.  This system is the antithesis of free enterprise. It is a form of extreme corporate capitalism that knows no boundary or national border. It exists in Socialist China, and it exists in the United States.  It exists worldwide. This is what happens when an extraordinarily vast amount of wealth is locked up in vaults by the inordinately powerful elite. These elite receive tax breaks and benefits, while the masses are left to suffer being kept in a control loop of easy credit and consequent debt, living a life of indentured servitude to corporate entities which eliminate their benefits and treat them as though they were disposable.  It is an unbalanced system which seeks to focus and concentrate power only to the select few elite, and it favors the form of government that is most sympathetic in supporting it.
This abject favoritism to the elite extends to every facet of American society. Keep in mind that traitorous corporations are not penalized and taxed for outsourcing jobs and weakening the foundation of the American workforce and the American manufacturing base.
Our protests are occurring as more people awaken from a sleep of fear and ignorance. We protest the disproportionate salary ratio of CEOs to their blue collar workers who are collectively busting their asses to feed their families while they struggle to keep themselves sheltered.
Our protests will continue. Though they should remain civil and non- violent, the option for self-defense should never be discarded. I adamantly stress this point as a last resort, solely for the fact that there is no absolute certainty that the government may not hesitate to use lethal force against American citizens. The founding fathers of our nation anticipated this and installed the second amendment for many logical reasons.  Despite what the propaganda machine may have you believe, they supported dissent against tyranny, and the ability for the common citizen to overthrow a government should it become harmful to its people.  We shall strive to remain peaceful, but persistent.
We have before us a bloody world history of uprising should we open our eyes.  The French revolution. The October revolution. Tiananmen square. We have Tunisia. Egypt, Libya, Syria. All of these are examples we can learn from and interpret meaning behind their causes.  Only through education can we free ourselves from ignorance.  There will always be those who will decry our cause as mere lamentations, seeking only to twist and contort our message.  Have we become so desensitized and jaded that we have forgotten the necessity of having to fight for our rights? The only noble option is to stand firm in our individual belief, which is truly a unique American characteristic.  We will not be silent. We are the 99%.
Only until the day comes that police have opened lethal fire upon protesting American citizens has the government truly lost all legitimacy and descended into totalitarianism.  Only then should we be prepared to give our lives without fear, for the distinct honor of preserving our liberty and freedom. Only then are we to take up patriot arms against a system which deserves a regime change.

Monsanto is at it again

Go to this page and read about how Monsanto is beginning to worry about the Organic Consumer's Association action, "Millions Against Monsanto" Campaign.

Sick of your food?  Think something is wrong with it?  There is!  GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) have changed the nature of the food we eat and what is fed to the animals we eat.

A spokesperson for Monsanto  says the OCA is attacking bioengineering, well, yes, they are but the largest most powerful company in the bioengineering industry is Monsanto.

Genetically modified foods include things like viruses and bacteria that by themselves are dangerous to humans but in combination with the DNA of the seeds produce a seed that is blight resistant.  Ok, so it helps the seeds but what is it doing to the people who eat the product of those seeds?  Ever wonder why Diabetes and Cancer are higher in this generation than ever before?  Look at the food you eat.

University of Alberta Scientists find a cheap cure for cancer.

According to a report at this website:  http://hubpages.com/hub/Scientists_cure_cancer__but_no_one_takes_notice, a group of scientists at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada have discovered the cause and cure for cancer.
So why isn’t the world beating a path to their door?  Why else … money.  The problem is that this cure is an old, ancient, (discovered in 1864) unpatentable drug called diychloroacitate or DCA.
The original research material can be found at http://www.dca.med.ualberta.ca/Home/index.cfm.  The University of Alberta is willing to share this data with any independent lab that is willing to pursue this path.   Isn’t it time to get a cure out there?
If the normal cells of the body shut off the mitochondria which has the “kill switch” then the cancerous cell can grow indefinitely as long as it gets food (which requires the host to be alive).  These cancerous cells also produce lactic acid (which is the cause of the disease called Gout) and this breaks down the walls of the damaged cells next to the cancerous ones.  Then the cancer cells pushes it’s destructive chemical nature into those adjoining cells making them cancerous and you have the beginnings of tumors.  The blood vessels nearby get damaged by the lactic acid and the cancerous cells get into the blood stream and now you have cancers all through the body and eventually the patient dies.  Any process that disrupts the basic structure of a cell is a “metabolic” disease so why are we treating the byproducts of cancer instead of the cause?  Same answer as why the major Pharmaceutical companies don’t do the DCA process … money.  They make a fortune off the cancer meds on the market today and they can’t make money on DCA.
Contact any local medical research facility and badger them to get into this research.  Call your local and national congressional representatives about getting some money into this research.  Don’t let Big Pharmaceutical ruin more lives with their expensive drugs.

Excerpt from "Angel of Vengeance" by Arrwyn Cliona Odhalt

Back in her bedroom, Tsidhqiyah was wakened by her own screams.  Her parents came into the room in a few seconds.
"What is it?” Paul asked, frightened.
            "I had a dream ... A true dream.  But, I can't believe it."
"What was it, Angel?” Marion soothed and tried to wipe the sweat from her brow with the sleeve of her robe.
"I walked into a coven of Satanists and they began calling to me and saying I was their princess.” Tsidhqiyah turned accusing eyes to her father.
Paul looked to Marion in alarm.
"That look on your face tells me this was a true dream to be believed.  Father, how can I be the princess of Satanists?"
"You are aware that you came to us with your name, we did not choose it for you.” Paul began.
"Yes.  It is Hebrew and means 'Justice of the Lord'.  Supposedly, my father, my genetic father, gave me that name.  He signed my birth certificate."
"He did.  You have never asked to see that birth certificate.  I think it is time.  If you are to fight this fight, Tsidhqiyah, you need to know your origin.” Paul finished darkly and stood with his hand extended to her.
Tsidhqiyah looked at her mother, her face was washed with frightened tears but there was a determination there.
            "Mother?"
"I had hoped this would not come so soon, but you must go with your father.  If you have had this dream now, it will be critical for you to make a conscious decision and it must be an informed one."
"Come with us.” the girl begged.
            "Yes."
They allowed the girl to get her robe and the three of them went to Paul's study.
From the cabinet where he kept his Bibles and biblical reference works he took down a locked box.  He opened the box from a key ring he kept in his desk.
"Sit here, beside me." he commanded his daughter softly.
Tsidhqiyah took the seat reserved for his counseling parishioners and turned it to face the same way as Paul's chair.
From the box, Paul took a crumbling piece of paper.  The seal of the city of Bushehr in Iran was evident on the paper.  It was written in Arabic, but Paul spoke and read Arabic fluently.  He had taught it to Tsidhqiyah.
            "I was born in Iran?"
"Yes, Tsidhqiyah.  You were born in Babylon."
            "That says Bushehr."
"Your birth was registered in Bushehr.  You were born on the ruins of what is believed to be ancient Babylon.  You were already six days old when your father brought you to the hospital in Bushehr."
"Is that his signature?” Tsidhqiyah pointed to a very flowery script in faded ink.
"That is his signature; watch …” Paul told her as he slipped the ragged piece of paper on his scanner.
Paul turned on his computer and brought up a digitized image of the paper.  Tsidhqiyah knew how the program worked and watched as her father isolated the script and then enhanced it.  At the end of the words was a sigil.  He enhanced the sigil then told Tsidhqiyah to go to his case and bring down The Book of Angels.  This was an ancient tome credited with having the sigils of every one of the archangels, angels, seraphim and cherubim, including the fallen ones.
With the sigil on the screen, they leafed through the book and found its match in The Book of Angels.  It was the sigil of a fallen archangel named Azradziel.  The particular province of this fallen angel was spiritual war.
"All this means is that the man who signed my birth certificate was versed in the knowledge of this book."
"More than that, he was versed in the prophecies of the Book of the Damned which is credited with having been written by the Apostle John who also wrote the Book of Revelation."
            "Why do you say that?"
"Get the book from the bottom of the case.  It is the one with the deep red cover.” Paul told her and hugged Marion's arm that was around his shoulder.
When Tsidhqiyah laid her hands on this ancient and battered volume, something strange happened.  Every sound of the natural night ceased instantly as though the very Spirit of the Lord walked beside their house.  Then as she brought the book out of the cabinet, the lights went out, but not the computer.
"What the hell is going on?” Tsidhqiyah whispered, annoyed.
            "Exactly."
"What?” she turned frightened, to her father for she understood his meaning.
"He walks the earth, Tsidhqiyah.  With your dream tonight and the way you feel, deep in your soul, as this truth is revealed to you, he knows you are awakening.  He's coming."
            "Who?"
            "Azradziel."
"Which one of us is loosing it, Dad?” Tsidhqiyah was more frightened than she wanted to sound.
"Perhaps you are, I wish it weren't true, but there was just too much evidence."
"If I was born in Arabia, how did you, specifically, get me?"
"We were chosen by a group of religious leaders; an ecumenical conference of Muslims, Jews, Coptic Christians, Roman Catholics and Protestant scholars.  I was on an archeological assignment in Palestine at the time you were brought to the hospital.  There were three men in the conference who knew my work and my spiritual gifts.  It was they who determined that you had to be raised by someone special and they chose your mother and me."
Tsidhqiyah brought the book back to her father's desk.  When she placed it in his hands, everything went back to normal.
"This is freaking me out.” Tsidhqiyah said as she sat down again.
"It gets worse, child.” Marion said and put her hand comfortingly on the young woman's shoulder.
Paul spent an hour and a half translating the Aramaic of the old book into English for Tsidhqiyah.  He read her all the passages that pertained to the coming of the first holy war on Earth after a thousand years of peace.
"The last of the Crusades between the residents of Arabia and the Christian world were fought in the fifteenth century.  It has only been four hundred years, not a thousand, but even you must see that everything else the prophesy says has already come true.  The final step is that the child of a fallen angel be born in Babylon.  That child, Tsidhqiyah, was you.” Paul concluded.
"Search with your God given gift of discernment, Tsidhqiyah.  Search your own soul and the knowledge you have of yourself.” Marion cautioned her.
"I have to admit, I know you are right.  You know, Father, Mother, that I sometimes hear a voice, speaking to me in plain English, that I have attributed as the voice of Christ.  I have never been steered wrong by listening to that voice.  Now, somehow, I know that voice has confirmed what you have told me."
Paul and Marion Justice were amazed at her calm.
"In Genesis it says the sons of god found favor with the daughters of men.  Those were the Nephilim, but they were angels, right?  My mother was human, wasn't she?"
"We are supposing that your mother was human for you are as perfect a human as any was ever seen, and the angels are widely accepted as being hermaphrodites.  You are only a female, Tsidhqiyah.  There were never any marks of this condition on you.” Paul explained.
            "No one knew my mother?"
"Not in the hospital or since.  The only one who knew your mother were her husband, your father, and her people.  It is likely she was a daughter of the nomads of Iran."
"If my human ancestry is Arabic, where did I get the green eyes and red hair?"
"From your father.  Read in The Book of Angels his description."
Tsidhqiyah opened the book again and read the entire passage on Azradziel.
"Yes, it says here he was 'fiery of hair and had eyes the color of the sea, green and golden and terrible to behold."
"You have your father's coloring and his temperament, child.” Marion said sadly.
"I remember the temper, Mother.  But ... if I am born of a fallen angel ... does that mean I am condemned to hell as they are?" finally Tsidhqiyah had tears in her eyes.
Paul rose from his seat and shut off the computer.  He pulled his adopted daughter to her feet and looked steadily into her green eyes.
"Tsidhqiyah, you were born of a mortal woman and an archangel.  Though that angel preferred to serve in hell than in heaven, your mortal mother gave you a chance for the promise of God.  You willingly accepted Christ as your personal savior when you were only seven years old.  You have formally restated that vow several times since.  You are a redeemed child of God.  Your generation gives you powers and abilities beyond what most mortals know, but you have accepted, for yourself, which master you will follow."
"Are you sure, Father?  I have accepted Christ and I believe He has accepted me, but what if my father comes for me?  What if this time, the covens win?"
"Do you believe God will give you the strength you need?"
"You shouldn't have to ask me that, Father."
            "Then why do you doubt?"
Tsidhqiyah wiped the tears from her eyes.  "Let's pray.” she asked her parents.
They moved to the center of the room and the three of them went to their knees, their arms locked about each other and joined in a unified prayer that lasted three hours.  When their prayer time was ended, both Paul and Marion Justice noticed a change in Tsidhqiyah.  If asked to describe the change, they couldn't, but she was decidedly different.
